I am scheduled to teach the end of March and have discovered recently that I won't be in town on the 24th. I will be able to teach the rest of my days though so I was wondering if anyone would be willing to sub for me that day. I will have all the materials you need ready for you. Thanks. If there is no one who can sub I will figure something else out. Thanks!

I think you should just skip it. I don't think you should worry about a sub:)
I'm with Courtney about just skipping it. But I would certainly be willing to sub or swap or whatever.
